Lincoln City's FA Girls Centre of Excellence has been established since 2002 and continues to grow from strength to strength. Competing in the North East Regional Section, we oversee the cream of talented young female players from around the county from Under 10 to Under 16.

There are 52 FA Girls Centres of Excellence throughout England, playing a key role in the FA's female player development pathway. Our shared philosophy is to stimulate player learning by allowing the ‘game to be the teacher' and by recognising the values of Long Term Player Development.

To deliver this work we have a dedicated team of coaches, supported by a professional team of backroom staff including a goalkeeping coach, physiotherapist and club doctor. Together they provide excellent support in keeping the FA Girls Centre of Excellence players fully informed and in peak physical condition to compete at the highest level, and our hard work has been rewarded recently with a number of players being selected for the National Development Pool.
