Girls FA Centre of Excellence
England Calling !!!
We have had a tremendous week in the Lincoln City Girls FA Centre of Excellence with two of our players being selected for the England U15 squad to play in Holland in March. Holly Crosby, a very talented midfield player has been joined in the squad for the first time by Billie Brooks. Billie is a tall central defender who attacks the ball very well and is composed in possession with a variety of passing options. She has worked hard on her game over the past few years to improve her weaknesses, consolidate her strengths and this is a fantastic reward for all the effort that she has put in.
To have two players in the England U15 squad just shows the depth of talent that we are lucky to have in the Centre of Excellence and it is testament to the quality of the organisation and the ability of all the coaching staff to play a part in producing players that can play at the very highest level of female football. This also gives all the other players a real boost to see that international recognition is not beyond any of them and whilst we can produce players of this quality ensures the England scouts will continue to monitor the development of our players very closely.
