During the Summer Holidays FITC ran four fantastic weeks of holiday clubs for both boys and girls at Lincoln City Football Club.  During the four weeks we ran days including Tricks and Skills, Agility, Super Strikers, Goal-Keepers, Midfielders, Multi Sports Day and the new and Exclusive ‘Olympics Day’, ensuring all children throughout Lincolnshire would find something they enjoy – not just Football!! 

The day proved to be a massive success with Lincoln City ace Defender, Danny Hone spending the afternoon joining in the fun relay races and presenting every child with their unique Olympics Day Medal.  On the day Danny quoted to FITC, ‘What a fantastic day for all the boys and girls taking part.  There was a great atmosphere and everyone was having a really fun time’.  During the holiday clubs, we endeavour to have at least one Lincoln City Footballer attend sometime during each day of the Clubs (depending on their schedule) to meet the children and give them the opportunity to ask the players questions and join in some of the sessions.     

Throughout the day the children were divided into 4 Countries, England, Spain, South Africa and USA with Spain proving to be the overall Champions at the end of the day.  They all took part in many different activities including, reaction belt races, relay races, long jump competitions and SAQ circuits with ladders and hurdles and many more.
