Voluntary Debate for the Prince's Trust Team

team26-5.jpgTeam 26, the latest group of young people to engage in the Prince's Trust youth support programme designed to develop new career and educational opportunities, enjoyed a lively debate on the subject of 'Volunteering in the Community' during a recent visit to Lincoln City's Football In The Community. The workshop formed part of the programme delivered by staff from Football In The Community, challenging young people's perceptions of voluntary work and the positive outcomes of volunteering. Delegates were also presented with a signed Lincoln City shirt and football which they plan to use to raise funds for their chosen charitable project which also forms part of their programme with The Prince's Trust.

The group also enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of Sincil Bank Stadium, including changing rooms, Executive Boxes and a seat in the first team dugout. For more on the work of The Prince's Trust visit www.princes-trust.org.uk.
