Fosse Way Primary leading the way...

Football in the Community went along to Fosse Way Primary School to provide a free coaching session and present a Lincoln City signed football in recognition of their fantastic achievement of receiving the first School Club Link Award from the Lincolnshire FA.

Fosse Way have become the Lincolnshire FA's first Focus School.  The Award shows the commitment from the School to help in the player's progression from School Football to Club Football.

Sally Brownlow, Head of Football, has shown tremendous devotion and loyalty in developing Football at the school for all ages and with the help from Young Leaders and Volunteers, she has sustained a 40 plus a week after schools club with specialised Goal Keeping and structured coaching sessions.

Tracy Nixon (Community Coach) went along to Fosse Way and provided the free coaching session and commented, 'I was very impressed with the football programme at the school and the relationship between Sally and the Children.  The School should be very proud of their acheievement and other Schools can follow in their foot steps'.
