Fosse Way Fun Run

out the blocks.jpgOn Thursday 18th March Fosse Way Primary School got involved with Sport Relief by organising a Fun Run around the school grounds. Lincoln City FC Sport & Education trust joined in the fun, bringing along two special guests, First Team Players Michael Gordon and Brian Gilmour. Before joining in with the Fun Run, both players participated in a game of Capture the Flag with a group of Year 3 & 4 children, put on by LCFC Sport & Education Trust coaches as part of the school's PPA lesson. The group then made their way onto the school field to join the other classes for the Fun Run. The whole school participated with each class taking its turn to run the two and a half laps, making up the Sport Relief Mile. Many of the children enjoyed the mile by leisurely jogging it with friends while others enjoyed the challenge of racing each other, and even the players! All the children and staff appeared to enjoy the afternoon which was a great success!
