Delivering Physical Education in Primary Schools...

In recent years, Community Imps - the Football In The Community team at Lincoln City - has made giant strides in the quality and diversity of work which we deliver in schools. Alongside developing technical football skills, our coaching programmes are designed to meet the needs of the National Curriculum for Physical Education at Key Stages 1 and 2 - by improving fundamental primary skills such as throwing and catching (net skills), agility, balance and coordination (body mechanics), invasion and evasion games, striking and fielding, spatial awareness, plus important social skills - communication and teamwork.

"Lincoln City's Community Scheme provides a thorough scheme of work - the coaching staff are very reliable, and have always worked extremely well with our children and our staff"

Judith Holden, Headteacher, New York Primary

In the last two years we have worked in over 60 primary schools in Lincolnshire, delivering structured PE lessons to over 5,000 youngsters. Our coaching staff will develop a programme to plug a gap in your existing curriculum or to link into your ongoing PE delivery. Plus, we can provide your school with written evidence of our work in the form of a coaching log, with an evaluation of each lesson if you want one.

"Many thanks for another successful year - your staff are professional, always punctual, and provide a high quality of teaching"

Greg Hughes, Headteacher, St Hugh's RC Primary
